Okay, I’m so sick of politics I can hardly stand it! Let’s talk about something else. (This one’s straight from James Lipton.) Finish the following sentence: My favorite word is...and my least favorite word is...

My favorite word is anthropomorphize. It is a word with no synonyms and I get excited when I have the opportunity to use it.

My least favorite word is occassion. I always, ALWAYS misspell it.

i do like words. so . . .one of my favorite words is discombobulated--it isn't quite onomonopea (sp?) but so close.

my least favorite word just might be irregardless--it is redundant and not truly a word but people insist on using it.

It looks like this topic is meant to lighten things up, so hope I won't poop the party too much. So starting with my favorite (or one of them): gratitude--"grace" is in the same "vicinity," and to me, gratitude incorporates grace and responds to it.

As to least favorite: fundamentalism. Mostly because that very grace/gratitude is mostly set aside when people are swept up in fundamentalism. It is a fearful grasping for conceptual foundation points when people are unable to see the often-positive elements of progress (evolution of ideas and culture); and strong fear so often leads to blindness, hate, violence, etc.
